The Very Quiet Cricket {Letter Q, Quarters}
Feb 02, 2015
{Letter Of the Week}
The book this week was The Very Quiet Cricket. The cricket couldn’t chirp until he found his friend at the end of the book. The Letter of the Week was Letter Q. Sweet Pea taped quarters to the Letter Q. Sweet Pea used a q-tip to place a dot in each circle for her Do-A-Dot Letter Q.

Then I gave her one of each coin and she had to put them in size order from largest coin to smallest coin. Next, she played Quarter Toss. She had a Letter Q and then she had to toss the quarters into the center of the Letter Q.

Instead of using a paint brush to paint, she used q-tips! Sweet Pea made a Quilt. She used craft supplies we had on hand to make each piece of her quilt and then she glued the pieces together.
