In December I finally got to start Ready-Made Preschool Level 1 with Sweet Pea! I decided to start in the middle of the curriculum so we could do The Christmas Story since it was Christmastime!

Just like Level 2, Ready-Made Preschool Level 1 has 30 weeks of lessons with 4 lessons per week. Every day begins by reading a book (one book per week). We read The Beginner’s Bible The Very First Christmas.

{Letter of the Week}

The Letter of the Week was Letter C. Sweet Pea glued cotton balls on to her Letter C. She counted the cotton balls as she placed them on her Letter C. I drew pictures of things that start with the Letter C and Sweet Pea had to guess what it was.

{Good News, Sheep, Angel}

Each day focused on one part of the Christmas Story. One day we read about the shepherds hearing about Jesus’s birth from angels who told them while they were watching their flocks of sheep. That day Sweet Pea got to make a Sheep Craft. Another day we read in the Bible about the angels proclaiming the Good News that Jesus Christ was born. Sweet Pea painted her foot yellow and her hands blue and we made an Angel! Sweet Pea also made a star ornament (not pictured) and read the Bible about the star showing where Baby Jesus was in the stable.

Sweet Pea loved her first week of Ready-Made Preschool!
