I couldn’t wait to get to Little Bug yesterday after her first day of school! I wanted to hear from HER how the first day had gone.

“How was your first day?!?”

“It was the best day ever!!!!”

Relief flooded my heart. We are committed to this school through the end of the year. I wasn’t surprised at all. I know my Little Bug.

“Did you miss me?!?!”, I asked her.

“Mom, I was too busy having fun!”

I said, “You didn’t even think about me?” I didn’t stop thinking about her the whole day!

She gave me a sheepish grin and again said, “I was having too much fun, Mom!”

48 minutes and counting…

Although, I must say, today I am not as anxious because I know she had a splendid day today.

I received a text from her teacher last night asking if Little Bug could have ice cream and chocolate syrup today during their “Science experiment”.

If yesterday was “The Best Day Ever” I am not sure what she is going to think about today after having ice cream and chocolate syrup at school!!!
