I wrote about our plans to begin Sonlight P4/5 next school year, and then I decided I didn’t want my girls to miss out on Sonlight’s first core for preschoolers, Sonlight P3/4! Since we’ve already spent our budgeted money for this year’s curriculum, I didn’t have any funds to purchase Sonlight P3/4.

So I turned to the library! I was able to locate 12 of the 18 titles in Sonlight P3/4 at our local library. We will be reading these books throughout this school year during our Read Aloud time!

I did purchase a few titles that I wanted in our home library if I could find the titles for a discount. We were outside when one book arrived in the mail that I had purchased for $5, including shipping. The girls tore into the package right there, stopped their outside play, pulled up their chairs by mine and we sat there and read a few stories from the book, The 20th-Century Children’s Book Treasury.

These books provided entertainment for a recent road trip to the mountains and I know we will continue to read and enjoy them throughout this year!
