Homeschool Heavy
Sep 17, 2013
So has anyone else noticed that since I started homeschooling basically ALL of my posts have had a “homeschool” theme?!
Not really sure what to say about that, except that my blog has always been a reflection of my heart and….this is where life has me right now, so my posts have been mostly about getting this homeschooling thing going in our household!
This is not to say my blog is turning into a “Homeschool Blog”. I’ve thought about starting a new blog just for homeschool posts, but the reality of that is that is too complicated and my blog has always been a journal of sorts of where life has taken me and it will stay that way.
So, while I will continue to post about our homeschooling, the other major topics of my blog will reappear as life goes on. I do have (mostly) homeschool posts in my drafts. Fair warning to anyone who is drowning in my homeschool posts!
Folks, this is why I don’t blog “professionally”. When I write, I am not writing with the intent to draw a crowd and get tons of readers. Personally, I like my “small” crowd. (That would be you.) I have not a clue how many people hopped along this page in the blogosphere today. I could go find out in my Google analytics account, but, frankly, I do not care about numbers.
Which is why I do horrendous things like call my blog God’s Faithfulness Through Infertility and then write a month straight of homeschool posts!
It’s called real life. Real heart issues. Real parenting struggles and victories. Real battles with infertility. Real journeys through adoption. And real homeschool. It will all balance out again once the newness of homeschool wears off…?? Maybe, maybe not! hehe
I do want to take a moment and thank my small crowd for joining me here daily and reading the words I type out on the computer and then publish for the world to read. (That still, given my quite nature, amazes me most every time I think about it.) I appreciate the few of you who leave comments. I do try to respond.
I truly love blogging at my own pace about the topics that are near and dear to my heart.
Thanks for reading along!
