Box Day & {Coming Soon} Homeschool Week!
Aug 16, 2013
I’d heard “Box Day” is a pretty big event for the homeschooling family! Recently, we got to experience our first “Box Day”.
What is “Box Day”??
Well, it is the day that the new curriculum arrives on the front doorstep and everyone goes crazy ripping into the boxes to see what is in store for the new school year!
The day after we arrived back from our little last-minute vacation, a white box was delivered to our front door. The girls had been out back swimming with Unk and when they came in I told Little Bug our homeschool materials had arrived!
The first 10-weeks of Ready-Made Preschool delivered to our door!
Little Bug dove right into the box.
And asked me if we could start that very day! I told her no, as I’m building up excitement for the First Day of Homeschool with her.
She was excited to find the little Treasure Box and can’t wait to know what we are going to do with it!
It’s a secret for now. Got to continue to build that excitement and anticipation with her!
The next day, more curriculum arrived and there was another Box Day party in our house!
This time I let her wet her appetite, just a little!
The countdown is on! Our First Day of Homeschool is Monday, August 19th!
The week of August 19th-23rd is Homeschool Week at GFTI!
