Creation Book
Feb 08, 2013
When we learned about how God created the world, we made a “Creation book”. There are 7 pages – one for each day of creation.
On Day 1, God created light. Genesis 1:1-5.
Little Bug glued a half-sheet of yellow paper onto a black piece of paper.
On Day 2, God created the sky and separated the waters in the clouds above from the waters below. Genesis 1:6-8
Little Bug glued cotton balls onto the top of the paper for clouds and waves from the ocean on the bottom of the paper.
On Day 3 God created plants, trees, flowers, mountains, hills an valleys. Genesis 1:9-13
I had cut out a hill, tree and some flowers for Little Bug to arrange on the paper and glue down.
On Day 4, God created the sun, moon and stars. Genesis 1:14-19
I cut a sun, moon and three stars out of foam paper and Little Bug glued them to the paper.
On Day 5, God created the sea animals and the birds of the air. Genesis 1:20-23
We found sea animals in a magazine and cut them out. Little Bug also put some feathers on the paper since God created birds on this day.
On Day 6, God created the animals and the first man, named Adam. Genesis 1:24-31
We looked for land animals in a magazine and Little Bug put a sticker of a man on the paper.
On Day 7, God rested. Genesis 2:1-3
Little Bug stamped Zz’s on this page!
After completing each page, we put the pages in order, made a cover page and stapled it all together!
We also did a few more Creation activities that I will post about soon!
