And more Farm fun!

Nov 15, 2012

There were a few more Farm activities that we did once we got back home!

Many toys and books for babies/toddlers are farm themed. I went around the house and gathered most of our farm toys and books and put them in a basket for Sweet Pea to play with while I did the learning activities with Little Bug.

This is what the living room looked like after our farm play that day:

While Little Bug and I were doing some “big girl puzzles” at the table, Sweet Pea was playing with our Little People Farm! She loves this toy!

Little Bug did a writing activity.

Then she worked on a farm alphabet puzzle.

After those activities we moved into the living room and pulled out the farm bin!

When I found this activity, I knew I wanted to do this for Sweet Pea. While she is too young to put the Animal Legos together, she loved watching me put them together and then she would point at the animals and I would tell her what they are and what sound they make!

We worked on two farm puzzles. Again, we would tell Sweet Pea what the animals are and what sounds they make. Then Little Bug got the idea to match the animals of the two puzzles.

Sweet Pea has loved this little toddler farm book for a long time now!

Both girls have LOVED these books through the years: Barnyard Dance and Big Red Barn!
